Handrails and trombone ends

Auto picks the pieces that best fill each run. Choose a size to swap it, or a custom length for a cut piece. Click an ID to find it on the plan.

Handrail connectors

CCON where two handrails meet at a corner, and also where a platform edge is left with a gap under 80mm (too short for any handrail, so the handrails either side are joined with a corner connector instead). A gap of about 100mm gets an H1, the 100mm length of handrail tube. SCON where they join in line (ramp to ramp, or two pieces on one edge), ACON where a platform handrail meets a ramp handrail, and 2 WCON fixing the handrails to the wall at the threshold.

Yellow nosing

L-shaped yellow strips that go along an edge to show where the slope changes: where a platform goes into a ramp, and where a ramp lands on a platform. No nosing goes onto the toe plate. Step units get one on every step and one on the top platform edge. Tick or untick each spot, or click the yellow strips on the plan.

Platform sizes

Width runs across the direction of travel, length along it, so 1200 × 1000 and 1000 × 1200 are different sizes. Changes apply straight away.

Open handrails (HV, HR, HL) are always 900mm high. Infill handrails (HVi, HRi, HLi) are 900mm on ramps and 900 or 1100mm on platforms. Set each section on its card, or under the side view.

Yellow nosing prices

Yellow nosing isn’t on the Easiaccess price list, so set your own prices here, ex VAT. A price per metre prices every length for you. Type a price against a length to use that instead. These prices are used in the bill of materials quote and saved in this browser.
